Broglio of the U.S. Archdiocese for the Military Services is scheduled to serve as celebrant and homilist at this liturgy memorializing Maryknoll priest and military chaplain Father Vincent R. Capodanno, who was killed while performing last rites for dying soldiers in Vietnam. The Mass will be broadcast live from the crypt church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington.

“The Rosary for Kids: Glorious Mysteries” — 4-4:30 p.m. EDT Sept. 5 on EWTN and online. From the Resurrection of Jesus to the crowning of Mary as queen of heaven and earth, this animated program teaches children about the five glorious mysteries of the rosary.
