Year of Faith: Advent event — 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1. and Dec. 2 at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Chandler. “You Shall Believe. Science tests faith” features Tim Francis who will talk about and show how various scientific tests proved what believers already know. Info.

Deadline for Advent retreat — Register online by Nov. 30. The Crosier Community of Phoenix is hosting an Advent Day of Reflection 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 8 at Mount Claret Retreat Center in Phoenix. The Casa’s Mens Spirituality Group is hosting a talk, “Developing Healthy Spiritual Relationships” presented by Charles Atkinson, a retired professor, professional psychotherapist and volunteer counselor at The Casa.
Mass is at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast and 7:30 a.m. and the talk at 8:45 a.m. Breakfast is by donation and the talk is free.
