I had the incredible pleasure of calling Sister Janice Bohn, SNDdN, a very dear friend. She helped give me direction and guide me on my spiritual journey. We spent alot of time together laughing, crying, walking, talking, sharing and enjoying one anothers company. She even encouraged me to pray in public at a restaurant before a meal, which at 23yrs old, was a little more “RELIGIOUS” for me and where I was at on my spiritual journey….but with love, guidance and alot of laughing, it is a habit that I am very proud to say that I continue to do today, without the embarrassment or feeling too “RELIGIOUS”! Jan you will be so very missed, but I look forward to a time when we all will be together again! I love you!

What a huge loss for all of us who love Sister Jan! Her warmth, love, and passionate love of the Holy Trinity has blessed so many of us. God speed, Sister Jan, to your eternal home! May you continue to pray for us who remain on our earthly pilgrimage and for Cursillistas still on our Fourth Day!

Wow, what a shock! I just sent Sister Janice a birthday card for her 70th birthday. When she called me on the telephone, she’d laughingly say, “Janice, this is the other Janice.” I will miss her gently soul. Rest in peace, Sister Janice.
