All members of a Divine Mercy prayer group are invited to a free, bi-lingual gathering to pray, sing, and share in the mercy. It will be held 2-4 p.m. March 9 at St. Mary’s Basilica, 231 N. 3rd Street and feature prayer, songs, discussion groups in English and Spanish and info on a divine mercy pilgrimage.

Members are welcome to stay for confession at 4 p.m., the basilica’s regularly scheduled time, and Mass at 5 p.m.

The list appears incomplete and not overly reliable, but there are reportedly 11 Divine Mercy Cenacle groups in Arizona. I am also seeing groups at St. Andrew the Apostle in Chandler (see the history of Divine Mercy) and St. Helen in Glendale.

Phoenix’s Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy is hosting the event. Email confirmation of groups to eadmphx@hotmail.com or call Joanne at (480) 335-6835. For Spanish registrations, email eadmphx@hotmail.com or call Lupe at (623) 336-9741.
