Catholic musicians from around the Valley are putting on a May 18 concert in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Louis the King Parish, 4331 W. Maryland Ave. in Glendale.

Tickets are $10 at the door, with proceeds going to scholarships and programs at St. Louis the King Catholic School. The concert begins at 7 p.m., followed by a reception in the courtyard.

The concert will feature a variety of music, from Ave Maria motets to upbeat contemporary songs, offering the audience to join in and sing along on many of their favorite songs honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In addition to the St. Louis the King Catholic Church Choir, musicians will be represented from Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral, St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Surprise, St. Augustine  and St. Daniel Parish in Scottsdale.

St. Louis the King Catholic School provides a quality pre-K through eighth grade education in a caring, gospel-centered environment.  A majority of the students require tuition assistance.
