See if you're called to proclaim God's love by serving as a Sister of the Precious Blood. The sisters are holding a “Come and See” day in Phoenix Sept. 15.

The Sisters of the Precious Blood invite single women ages 18-40 to a “Come and See” Day of Reflection Sept. 15 at St. Paul Parish, 330 W. Coral Gables Drive in Phoenix.

It will be a chance for women to discuss a calling to religious live with other women who are serious about God's call to love and serve. Women will interact with Sisters of the Precious Blood and hear their stories of how they are answering the call through their lives and ministries.

A “Come and See” enables adult women to listen to the deepest desire in their hearts; reflect upon the lives of ancestors in faith and how they inspire; talk with others about their own gift of faith and the urging of the Lord; and get away from the ordinary day-to-day routines of life.

“This is such an important event for women who have questions or are curious about life as a Sister of the Precious Blood,” said Sister Mary Yarger, C.P.P.S., the community’s coordinator of vocation ministry. “We are looking forward to getting to know women who are serious about taking the next step in their faith.”

Sisters of the Precious Blood have served in education, medicine, ecology, justice and peace, management and pastoral administration for more than 175 years. See their ministries. They work in the U.S. — including Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio — Chile and Guatemala.

To register for the “Come and See” Day of Reflection, email Sr. Yarger, vocations@preciousbloodsistersdayton.org by Sept. 12. Information can also be found on Facebook at Sisters of the Precious Blood vocations.
