Vocal Impact, the advanced mixed show choir at Notre Dame Preparatory in Scottsdale, made quite an impression on judges during last week’s National Anthem auditions at U.S. Airways Center. Out of more than 400 singing acts, the co-ed group was one of 10 selected to sing the National Anthem for a future Phoenix Suns game.

Their center court debut will be next spring. Until then, shoppers who head to the Outlets at Anthem Nov. 16 can hear Vocal Impact. The group will perform during the annual Anthem Tree Lighting Service.

Vocal Impact is one of two traveling choirs at Notre Dame. The singers will travel with the Lady Saints Show Choir this fall for the following events and competitions:

  • Arizona Regional Concert Choir Festival Oct. 5-6
  • Fall Show Choir Concert Nov. 10 at Notre Dame

It looks like Vocal Impact is scheduled to sing the National Anthem sometime in the spring. Meanwhile, here is how they sounded during the audition in the final days of fall:
