MESA — Due to outstanding interest in its groundbreaking 18-month $10K M.B.A. program, Benedictine University at Mesa is starting its first group of M.B.A. classes June 24 and is accepting applications for future M.B.A. learning teams.

The first cohort has 24 students. Future groups are forming now and interested individuals are invited to attend one of four noontime virtual information sessions. The first one is June 25.

Both phone and Internet connections are necessary to participate.

Three on the ground open houses are set for the coming months with the first starting at 6 p.m. June 24 at Gillett Hall, located at 225 E. Main St. in downtown Mesa. The open houses allow interested students to meet with an admissions counselor to review program requirements and receive an overview of BenU’s hybrid M.B.A. model, which has traditional classroom and online components.

The program is designed for students with at least five years of work experience in business, industry, public service, military service or other professional employment. The info sessions are especially for students who believe a graduate business education was beyond their reach due to a prohibitive cost.

Recognizing that sustainable growth and prosperity starts with providing resources to educate the minds of its masses, the City of Mesa embarked on a journey to attract a distinguished university that would help revitalize its downtown area while giving the city and area residents something it lacked.

Benedictine University at Mesa is a branch campus of Benedictine University, which is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education to operate an accredited, degree-granting institution of higher learning in Arizona.
