WASHINGTON, DC — American Life League has organizations from 31 states on board with its commitment to protect and defend human life from the moment of creation until natural death. The Aid to Women Center in Tempe joined that list this week.

The pro-life organization, whose work surrounds the Arizona State University community, became the 125th member of American Life League’s Associate Program. It’s the fifth Arizona organization to be included.

“After hearing Rita Diller speak and talking with Mary Flores from ALL’s outreach team, we saw joining the Associate Program as a great opportunity to align with another pro-life Catholic organization,” Kelly Sarotte, director of Aid to Women Center, said in a press release.

As an associate of American Life League, the Tempe pregnancy and medical clinic will remain fully independent, but receive additional printed resource literature to assist with their outreach. Associates also have access to American Life League’s speaker bureau filled with experts on topics including how to stop Planned Parenthood, pro-life strategy and education, and fundraising.

Judie Brown, president of American Life League, said, “The Aid to Women Center is a great example of a local effort making a huge difference in its community. We are proud to have Kelly Sarotte and her team on board as an American Life League Associate.”

Aid to Women Center launched a Men’s Program Father’s Day weekend this year and hopes to one day have male client advocates serve as volunteers. Future efforts also include opening a satellite clinic closer to ASU, a vulnerable population in the pro-life movement, and increased outreach through the web, social media and face-to-face encounters at health fairs and community events.
