Students at our local Catholic high schools are putting the finishing touches on their fall plays. Here are some of the classic stories they’ll be bringing to life on stage soon and in the coming weeks.

Fall Play Little Women – Performances October 8-11 at Seton Catholic Preparatory in Chandler. Map.
Four young siblings struggle to keep their family going while their father fights the Civil War and each girl strives to find her true self.
Tickets: $5 for students and $10 for adults. Info.

You Can’t Take it With You — Oct. 9-10 at Notre Dame Preparatory in Scottsdale. Map.
This comedic story shows what happens when future in-laws meet.
Tickets: $5. Info.

Mary Poppins —Oct. 14-15 and Oct. 17 at Xavier College Preparatory. Map.
The Xavier/Brophy Theatre Department is bringing Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, the Broadway musical based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film about the “practically perfect” nanny.
Tickets: $10 and available one hour prior to show time. Info.

Out of the Frying Pan — Nov. 12-15 at Bourgade Catholic High School. Map.
Shows what happens when six young men and women — all aspiring stage folk — share an apartment above a Broadway producer and try to find a way for him to see them rehearse the play he is casting.
