Priests from throughout the Diocese of Phoenix flocked to Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral for the annual Chrism Mass with Bishop John P. Dolan presiding. The annual Mass draws a crowd to witness the bishop blessing the oils that will be used throughout the year in sacramental celebrations such as Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick and Holy Orders.

Bishop Dolan returned to the West Valley on Wednesday, as he toured Saint John Paul II High School and celebrated Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas, where he was installed August 2, 2022.

A record number of participants took part in the 14th Annual Desert Nun Run on Saturday at Kiwanis Park in Tempe. The event serves as a fundraiser to support Our Lady of Solitude Monastery and the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration in the Diocese of Phoenix. 

Over 700 people gathered March 2 to celebrate and raise funds for the John Paul II Resource Center for Theology of the Body and Culture.

Pro-life Arizonans converged on the Arizona State Capitol Thursday, February 23, to march in support of a culture of life throughout our state and nation.

The 12th annual Phoenix Diocesan Conference for Catholic Women was a successful day for all who attended.  Held at Xavier College Preparatory on January 28, 2023, the women were treated to a day of educational speakers.

Seton Catholic Preparatory will host ten schools from the local area for its annual Unified Field Day event on Friday, February 3, 2023.

Students from Catholic schools across the Dioceses of Phoenix and Tucson gathered on Wednesday to celebrate Mass and hold the 20th annual rally for Catholic Schools Week. The rally included performances by Brophy College Prep's jazz band, a cheer performance from Bourgade Catholic High School, a choral performance from Xavier College Preparatory Honor Choir, and testimony from a student at St. John Paul II Catholic High School.

Bishop John Dolan continued his tour of high schools in the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix today as part of his “Listening Tour,” visiting St. Mary's High School in Phoenix. In addition to meeting with students, faculty, and staff, he celebrated Mass with the student body and toured the campus.
