The six Catholic high schools serving the Phoenix Diocese offer a rigorous curriculum that prepares its graduates well for high school. Jessica Maxwell's latest Gold Star, her third straight one from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, is further proof that Catholic school graduates leave ready for college life and beyond.

Catholic Schools Week, the annual affair which is held throughout dioceses across the nation, will celebrate the important role of Catholic education in shaping future leaders Jan. 27-Feb.2.

Adrian Dominican Sister Nancy Murray — a sibling of comedian Bill Murray — will bring her one-woman show, “Rooted in Love: The Life and Death Story of Sr. Dorothy Stang,” to Most Holy Trinity Feb. 2 and St. Steven in Sun Lakes Feb. 3.
