Becoming Communities of Accompaniment Through Immigration

Description:

The Diocese of Phoenix Office of Hispanic Ministry, in collaboration with the Department of Catholic Social Teaching, is hosting a one-day event focused on immigration! Open for parish and school leaders, Becoming Communities of Accompaniment Through Immigration is a day focused on providing information and resources for communities wanting to walk with people impacted by immigration. Scheduled from 9:30am – 2:00pm this day includes an opening prayer from Bishop Nevares, immigration stories, listening sessions, accompaniment information from Mental Health Ministry, organizational resources, and action planning! Registration is free and includes lunch for the day.
