Living A Life of Radical Devotion, The “Little Way” of a Catholic Worker

In the Tilma, under “Hope to the Poor and the Hungry on a Personal Level,” Bishop Dolan urges us to read Thérèse by Dorothy Day. This program, scheduled on the feast of St. Thérèse will start with Mass at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner and a keynote from Jeffrey Odell Korgen and a discussion. Mr. Korgen has written several books including Dorothy Day: Radical Devotion. He coordinated the local phase of Dorothy Day’s canonization process for the Archdiocese of New York. The program will explore the effect of St. Thérèse on Dorothy, the Catholic Worker movement touching on the social dogma of the church, and the canonization process. The program is free.
