Before her voice reached hundreds of thousands of people online and conference stages around the world, Emily Wilson Hussem was a Sun Devil studying broadcast journalism with plans for a career in sports broadcasting. Then God redirected the call.

Today Emily is one of the most recognized Catholic speakers in the country. She has keynoted SEEK, Hallow, Life Teen, and Steubenville, written the award-winning Go Bravely among other books, and built a YouTube community of more than 130,000 subscribers. This fall, she’s coming home to Newman to lead fellow alumni in a talk on trust and meditative prayer.
