TOTAL CONSECRATION TO MARY
according to the Spirituality of St. Maximilian Kolbe and Franciscan Charism
Have you ever considered consecrating yourself to Mary?
Given to us as our Mother by Jesus from the cross, Mary is our greatest intercessor and always leads us to Jesus. Through total consecration we become an instrument in her immaculate hands to help spread her Son’s Kingdom throughout the world. Wherever the Immaculata enters, Jesus enters; and grace, conversion and growth in holiness are obtained. In effect, Mary has been chosen to be the vehicle and instrument of God’s mercy and grace — all graces come to us from The Sacred Heart of Jesus through the immaculate and merciful hands of the Immaculata.
The spirit of the MI is the spirit of continual conversion. When lived in the spirit of willingness and humility, the Immaculata will elevate our natural gifts and inspire us to holiness and fruitful service within the Church. Join us at an upcoming class and explore the deeper meaning of Total Consecration to Mary, and the Militia of the Immaculata.
Join us for this Saturday, May 13th preparation class (REGISTRATION REQUIRED) as we discuss:
• Why we consecrate ourselves to Mary
• The Role of Mary in the Church
• The spirituality of St. Maximilian Kolbe behind the founding of the Militia of the Immaculata (MI)
• How to prepare for Marian Consecration
Please note that the morning class is to inform and help assist those who are discerning consecration to Our Lady. The actual consecration ceremony for those who choose to follow through, will take place at the 4:30pm Vigil Mass. (4:30pm Vigil Mass attendance optional).
TO REGISTER for the Consecration Preparation class, email firstname.lastname@example.org that you will attend. Or, call 480-838-5873 and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number and email address. Or, reply to reader poll in Friday Flocknote. This is a wonderful opportunity.
