About Fr. John Nahrgang
Fr. John is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Mariology (the theological study of the Virgin Mary) at the Marianum in Rome. His current research focuses on Mary’s titles of Theotokos (“Mother of God”), Our Lady of Guadalupe and Mother of the Church.

Prior to this, Fr. John served as Episcopal Vicar for Evangelization and Education for the Diocese of Phoenix (2021-2022), studied at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family in Washington, D.C. (2020-2021), and served as parochial vicar at the Cathedral of Saints Simon and Jude in Phoenix (2018-2020). He was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Thomas Olmsted in 2018.
