See amazing displays for yourself — no need to travel to Rome! \nWhat is a Eucharistic Miracle?\nEucharistic miracles are extraordinary events or phenomena\, which manifest the Real Presence of Jesus in the consecrated bread and wine in a way that we can discern with our ordinary senses. The manifestation may be as simple as a host floating on air or as astonishing as a host becoming visible human flesh. \nSaint Carlo Acutis: “To always be close to Jesus; that’s my life plan.” \nWith these few words\, Carlo Acutis\, the boy who died of leukemia\, outlines the distinguishing feature of his brief existence: to live with Jesus\, of Jesus\, and in Jesus. This international exhibition was created and designed by Carlo Acutis in 2002. It consists of an extensive collection of photographs and historical records representing a sampling of ancient and modern Eucharistic miracles that have taken place in various parts of the world. The collection was assembled by the Vatican to mark the Year of the Eucharist (2004-2005). After being shown at more than 500 parishes in Italy\, it is now traveling the rest of the world. \nBring the exhibit to your parish or school!\nThe exhibition brought to Phoenix is comprised of 47 different miracles spanning 1500 years\, with the most recent one having occurred in 2013! All are welcome to come to this free event from 10-6pm on Fri\, 8/29 and 9-3pm on Sat\, 8/30. \nThe Eucharistic Miracles Display is a traveling museum-like exhibition featuring the Eucharistic Miracles as chronicled by Blessed Carlo Acutis (1991-2006). \nThe exhibition uses panels with photos\, artwork\, and text to tell the stories of each miracle \nBlessed Carlo was a teenager from Italy who developed a website dedicated to the documented and scientifically scrutinized occasions when the Holy Eucharist changed in its physical appearance\, reminding us that the bread and wine of the Mass truly become the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Carlo is being canonized this year.

Joe Heschmeyer has a long history of public speaking\, having been a high school and college debater\, an attorney\, a seminarian\, a religion instructor\, and an adjunct professor at a Catholic college. He has run the blog Shameless Popery since 2009\, co-hosted The Catholic Podcast for three years\, and is a long-time contributor to various Catholic online and print publications. \nAs a result\, Joe is comfortable speaking in front of audiences of a variety of sizes\, ages\, and backgrounds.
