Designed and supported by The Labyrinth Society\, this annual gathering introduces participants to the ancient practice of walking the labyrinth — a simple yet powerful path for prayer\, contemplation\, and reflection. \nThis year’s theme\, “Walk as One for Peace\,” reminds us that even small\, mindful steps taken together can create healing in our hearts\, our communities\, and our world. \nFor those who cannot physically walk the labyrinth\, you will be welcomed to a shaded area where you can participate by coloring or using a finger labyrinth. \nWe will start with a brief introduction to the labyrinth and Q&A time\, before we begin our walk with a prayer. St. Clare\, too\, saw beauty as a reflection of the divine presence. She described it as something that awakens the soul and draws us closer to God. You are invited to step forward and see the world through the Franciscan lens in this engaging\, hands-on experience. \nOver the course of the day\, you’ll explore four meaningful ways to connect with beauty: attending\, inhabiting\, valuing\, and gazing. You’ll participate in lively discussions\, mindful practices\, and explore stunning art\, desert pathways\, and healing garden—all designed to help you see the sacred in everyday life. \nWith special participation from the Our Lady of the Angels friars\, you’ll hear insights from Fr. Vincent about the fascinating history of the San Damiano Cross—its symbolism and significance in Franciscan tradition. Plus\, Fr. DESCRIPTION:Chaplain Mary George-Whittle \nLearn about the central mystery of the Christian faith.\nAs we enter into the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity\, you are invited to spend the day before the solemnity to learn more about and to reflect upon the central mystery of the Christian faith: one God as three co-equal and co-eternal persons: God the Father\, God the Son\, and God the Holy Spirit. \nChaplain Mary George-Whittle will share insights into the personalities\, traits\, and characteristics of each person in the Trinity and their relationship to each other and to you. This workshop is designed to unite minds\, hearts\, and voices together as we gain a deeper personal connection and awareness of how active our Triune God is in your life and how integral relationships are to understanding the nature of God in your own personal faith journey.
