DESCRIPTION:All Saints welcomes The Scally Brothers Band to kick off “Vocations Awareness Month” at the parish and participate in the National Eucharistic Revival movement with an hour of Adoration\, praise and worship\, and prayer for vocations inside the church. This event will also be live streamed on the All Saints Catholic Church Facebook and YouTube pages. Freewill offerings will assist with event costs and support Nazareth House Seminary. SUMMARY:Foundations of Faith Community Nursing
DESCRIPTION:Duet: Partners in Health and Aging is partnering with Dignity Health to present a Fall Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course (virtual course). \nThe Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course is an intensive 5 day course the provides Registered Nurses with the tools they need to develop and/or work within a congregational Health Ministry Program. Faith Community nurses provide a holistic approach to their practice: physical\, psychological\, social with a uniquely spiritual component to care. Faith Community Nursing (formerly Parish Nursing) is a recognized nursing specialty with Standards of Practice for Faith Community Nurses developed by the American Nurses Association and Health Ministry Association. The Course has been developed by the Westberg Institute for Faith Community Nurses. The five day course has approval from the Arizona Nurses Association for 42.5 contact hours for professional nurses. \nBrochure and Application \nDates will be Sept 30/October 1; October 7/October 8; October 15. time for all days will be 8 AM to 5 PM. \nThe Catholic Health Assocation fully endorses Faith Community nursing and has published a monograph on the topic. \nhttps://www.chausa.org/nursing/faith-community-nursing\n“Faith communities and health care organizations are both called to heal.
