SUMMARY:Signs from God- Miracles and their Meaning by Tim Francis
DESCRIPTION:Tim has presented at hundreds of parishes and conferences. He uses Eucharistic Miracles to prove the true presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. He also shows video and reports a case of a Bolivian woman who receives the wounds of Christ (Stigmata)\, just as St. Francis of Assisi and St. Padre Pio did. He will also talk about Eucharistic miracles such as a case of a consecrated host scientifically proven to be living heart tissue. These miracles led to his reversion and fervent desire to share his faith in parishes. This event will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Parish\, which is not far from Chandler\, Tempe\, Mesa\, and the East Valley.\nFirst mission will be on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 23) from 3:00 to 5:30pm\, and then on Monday (Oct.24) from 6-8:30pm\, Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 24 & 25) from 6-8:30 pm also. \nHe encourages us to bring family and friends who have fallen away from the church and he has seen many instances where by attending this mission their faith is restored. The manifestation may be as simple as a host floating on air or as astonishing as a host becoming visible human flesh. \nBlessed Carlo Acutis\n“To always be close to Jesus; that’s my life plan.” \nWith these few words\, Carlo Acutis\, the boy who died of leukemia\, outlines the distinguishing feature of his brief existence: to live with Jesus\, of Jesus\, and in Jesus. \nThis international exhibition was created and designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis in 2002. It consists of an extensive collection of photographs and historical records representing a sampling of ancient and modern Eucharistic miracles that have taken place in various parts of the world. The collection was assembled by the Vatican to mark the Year of the Eucharist (2004-2005). Through books\, articles\, videos and participants’ discussion\, this 6-week virtual course offers a lively and challenging exploration of the spirit of “solidarity” in the 21st century.
