SUMMARY:Vatican Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles
DESCRIPTION:As part of the National Eucharistic Revival\, the Vatican Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles is coming to Phoenix. There will be many stops on the way. See amazing displays for yourself — no need to travel to Rome! \nWhat is a Eucharistic Miracle?\nEucharistic miracles are extraordinary events or phenomena\, which manifest the Real Presence of Jesus in the consecrated bread and wine in a way that we can discern with our ordinary senses. The manifestation may be as simple as a host floating on air or as astonishing as a host becoming visible human flesh. \nBlessed Carlo Acutis\nTo always be close to Jesus; that’s my life plan. \nWith these few words\, Carlo Acutis\, the boy who died of leukemia\, outlines the distinguishing feature of his brief existence: to live with Jesus\, of Jesus\, and in Jesus. This international exhibition was created and designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis in 2002. It consists of an extensive collection of photographs and historical records representing a sampling of ancient and modern Eucharistic miracles that have taken place in various parts of the world. The collection was assembled by the Vatican to mark the Year of the Eucharist (2004-2005). After being shown at more than 500 parishes in Italy\, it is now traveling the rest of the world. \nBring the exhibit to your parish or school!\nThe exhibition brought to Phoenix is comprised of 47 different miracles spanning 1500 years\, with the most recent one having occurred in 2013! The miracles featured are from Europe\, Asia\, and the Americas. The exhibition offers you a virtual tour of these veritable treasures of our faith. To bring this exhibition to your parish or school\, email EucharisticMiraclesArizona@gmail.com. \nBlessed Carlo Acutis\, pray for us! Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament\, pray for us!

DESCRIPTION:February 2023 Travelling Fatima Ministry\n“LORD DELIVER US” \nHistory\nOur monthly Travelling Fatima Rosary Novena Prayer\, started on the first Saturday in the month of July 2020\, inspired by our parent’s devotion to the Fatima and our Lady of Fatima’s call for us to “PRAY THE ROSARY EVERY DAY TO OBTAIN PEACE FOR THE WORLD” and her assurance that “THERE IS NO PROBLEM\, NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT IT IS THAT CANNOT BE RESOLVED BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY ROSARY”.\nOur Blessed Mother Mary is our greatest INTERCESSOR and MEDIATOR\, “placing herself between her son\, and mankind” to intercede for our “wants\, needs\, and sufferings”. Praying the rosary\, a POWERFUL prayer with many blessings and miracles\, gives honor to our Blessed Mother Mary\, the FATIMA. \nSchedule: January 2023\, anytime between 2PM – 6PM\nWe are now scheduling our Fatima’s travel for the month of February 2023. We will promptly respond and book your request via email at TravellingFatimaMinistry@gmail.com or call/text 480-612-4276.\nNote: \nHOLY ROSARY PRAYER to the FATIMA and RECITATION of the DIVINE MERCY:\nOPTION 1\n1. It is a ”contactless” prayer event which lasts for about 15-20 minutes\, Upon your request(s) we can also pray with you for your special intentions: healing prayer (spiritual\, physical\, etc.)\, repose of the souls of your loved ones\, finding a job\, birthday blessings and the like.\n4. We kindly request for you to prepare a table\, candle and chairs\, at a 6ft distance for social distancing safety precaution\, mask(s) optional.\nOPTION 2\n– We accommodate out of town/state requests and we will pray the Holy Rosary and the Divine Mercy with you via the online Face Time platform\, (VIRTUAL):\na. All throughout the prayer\, the image of the FATIMA and DIVINE MERCY will be in holy appearance before you/your family. \nMatthew 18: 20 “…when two or more are gathered in my name\, there I am among them.” \nOpening Hymn: Immaculate Mother\nClosing Hymn: Our Lady of Fatima

SUMMARY:Thriving Where You’re Planted: Benedictine Stability in a Rootless Time
DESCRIPTION:Join Michael Rubbelke as he examines what Saint Benedict taught about the virtue of stability and how it can be a gift for contemporary American Christians on Friday\, February 3! \nIn the last decade\, authors like Rod Dreher and Patrick Henry have portrayed The Rule of Benedict as an antidote for the ills of our society. These authors often single out the virtue of stability: the choice to identify and remain with one community. In today’s extremely mobile culture\, Benedict shows the wisdom of putting down roots. This presentation will examine how stability can be a gift for contemporary American Christians. We will examine what Benedict taught about stability as well as how one particular community—the Trappist martyrs of Tibhirine\, Algeria—help us to understand stability as an antidote to fear and division today. \nDr. Michael Rubbelke is an Assistant Professor of spirituality and monastic studies at the Saint John’s Graduate School of Theology and Seminary. His passion for education led him to teach high school\, serve as the Director of Adult Faith Formation in a Catholic parish\, and now teach and form students at the undergraduate and graduate levels at CSB/SJU. Michael has been fascinated with Benedictine wisdom\, particularly how it can be applied outside the monastery. His teaching and research highlight the necessary interrelationship between spirituality and theology\, particularly in monastic settings. \nFree event. Registration is required: www.collegevilleMN.com/theologyday\, 320-363-3560 or theologyday@csbsju.edu.\nStart time indicates when the presentation begins; in-person check-in is 30 minutes prior.

SUMMARY:Faith & Science: Searching for Life in Creation
DESCRIPTION:Faith & Science Night: Searching for Life in Creation\nPresented by James Renn\, Vatican Observatory Ambassador\nSaturday\, February 4\, 2023 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm \nWith so many news articles about the search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ETI)\, the evening’s presentation will focus on the Divine Creation concept of the Universe and how we as God’s creatures interact with it and with other “creatures”. Vatican Observatory Ambassador\, James Renn\, would like to give us another lecture. This time on extraterrestrial life and what the Church and Catholic scientists think about the possibility that aliens exist. There are many articles by Catholic scientists\, including the Vatican Observatory Director\, Brother Guy Consolmagno\, and our previous director\, Fr. Jose Funes\, about the existence of aliens. \nConsider the spirituality of the Vatican cosmologist Fr. Bill Stoeger who said\, “Something we often forget: We are part of Nature and products of the Universe. Thus\, we are intimately related to the Universe which is defined as “all that there is”. \nHopefully this presentation will give each of us a new perspective on the search for life in God’s Creation. \nThis is a free presentation. All are welcome to attend.

SUMMARY:Catholic Customs and their Biblical Roots
DESCRIPTION:Our Catholic faith is a liturgical faith. It makes use of all five of our senses: sight\, sound\, smell\, taste\, and touch. This is certainly by design as each sense aids us in availing ourselves of the salvific grace flowing from the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. This is precisely why every effort should be used to employ all of our senses whenever possible during the celebration of the sacred liturgy. In more concise terms\, the “smells and bells” most certainly do matter. Catholic popular devotions are well-grounded in Scripture and were practiced by the leading lights of the Catholic intellectual tradition. In this presentation\, Fr. John Clote will explain the history and biblical roots of catholic customs including The Sign of the Cross\, Holy Water\, Incense\, Candles\, Scapulars and Medals\, the Rosary\, and Relics.
