SUMMARY:International Pilgrim Statue Our Lady of Fatima Phoenix Tour
DESCRIPTION:Our Lady of Fatima International Pilgrim Virgin Statue is scheduled to Tour Phoenix and Tucson Dioceses. We have several Parishes participating but would welcome additional host parishes. If you are interested in hosting and to help prepare for the visit with the International Pilgrim Fatima Statue please review the suggested program and kindly check and fill in the boxes below. To assist us in our scheduling\, please state the date and hour of arrival and actual departure time which will work out best for you. Since time is of great importance\, please contact our local coordinator Ellen Francis sefran5@aol.com or Patrick Sabat psabat@bluearmy.com to obtain a simple checklist form to complete and email.\nWe will line up the venues on a first-come\, first-served basis\, so please include an alternative date. \nCurrent parishes: St Rose Philippine Duchesne\, Anthem; St Mary’s in Kingman; St Francisco de Asis\, Flagstaff; St Gabriel the Archangel \, Cave Creek.  \nThere is still room for a few more parishes May 4\, part of May 6\, and possibly May 7. \nThe program is usually built around a morning Mass schedule and/or an evening event\, with private veneration throughout the day. Sometimes parishes will schedule the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet to be prayed at intermittent times. Sometimes they have Eucharistic adoration and assign adorers to each hour\, or ask regular adorers to come to the church instead of the perpetual adoration chapel. Custodians can give talks on the message of Fatima to a morning and/or evening group\, and during the day to school groups when scheduled.\nThe priest does not have to be involved all day\, only for Mass\, confessions\, Exposition and Benediction. The priest’s enthusiasm and making announcements/invitations to come to the visitation after parish Masses\, generates more response and enthusiasm from the faithful.\nInvitations/bulletin announcements should be extended to area parishes since the statue cannot travel to all of them. We are happy to assist with area promotions.

Our Centro Santa Cruz building holds the evening of raffles\, auctions\, and dinner as we transform our gym into an amazing gathering place for our community to celebrate. This annual event benefits academics\, technology\, and Science Lab enhancements while enhancing educational programs that educate the Mind and Heart. Plus\, this year\, the proceeds will go toward purchasing two minibusses. The minibusses will allow us to transport our sports teams to and from away games. The school will also be able to utilize the minibusses to go on field trips and other off-campus events.

See amazing displays for yourself — no need to travel to Rome! \nWhat is a Eucharistic Miracle?\nEucharistic miracles are extraordinary events or phenomena\, which manifest the Real Presence of Jesus in the consecrated bread and wine in a way that we can discern with our ordinary senses. The manifestation may be as simple as a host floating on air or as astonishing as a host becoming visible human flesh. \nBlessed Carlo Acutis\nTo always be close to Jesus; that’s my life plan. \nWith these few words\, Carlo Acutis\, the boy who died of leukemia\, outlines the distinguishing feature of his brief existence: to live with Jesus\, of Jesus\, and in Jesus. \nThis international exhibition was created and designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis in 2002. It consists of an extensive collection of photographs and historical records representing a sampling of ancient and modern Eucharistic miracles that have taken place in various parts of the world. The collection was assembled by the Vatican to mark the Year of the Eucharist (2004-2005). Keith Douglass Warner\, OFM \nPope Francis’s project for the church — the “Francis Option” — has now come into focus\, and it challenges everyone participating in religious formation and the life of the Church. Much has been written about the “novel” social dimensions of his project\, expressed in Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti\, but these can only be fully understood in light of the development of his ecclesial vision over the past twenty years. According to Brazilian Cardinal Cláudio Hummes (a former OFM Franciscan provincial)\, the reform of the Catholic Church is the greatest and most comprehensive goal of Pope Francis’s pontificate. Hummes asserts that the apostolic exhortation Evangelii gaudium is the true programmatic document of Pope Francis. In practice\, this project can be summarized in several moves for the church from: \na church of self-preservation to a church that goes forth to form missionary disciples\nclericalism to synodality\n“broken conveyor belts of faith” to a culture of encounter\nNo fee and no registration required. Together we will behold the wisdom and grace of being just who we are\, taking plenty of time to share with one another the blessings and challenges of the journey which has brought each of us to this place of peaceful sanctuary. And in everything\, we’ll practice the sacred art of quiet listening\, allowing one another to bring forth what is true and alive in them. There will also be time for quiet walks to rest in simple awareness. \nThis day-and-a-half retreat will engage you – from beginning to end – in a thoughtful and inspiring look at the stories of how you came to be the person you are and the qualities of your life that can be a true legacy to future generations.
