The Diocese of Phoenix held a special Mass and a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday evening (Sept. 9) at the Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix to officially open a new education center in partnership with the University of Mary. The new space will be utilized to educate future priests that are part of the diocese’s Nazareth Seminary and provide a new master’s program for anyone interested in mental health counseling at the new Photina Center. Bishop John Dolan and Auxiliary Bishop Eduardo Nevares were joined by Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and others for the ribbon cutting.
