On the Feast Day of St. Juniper Serra, the Diocese of Phoenix hosted a Serra Club Appreciation Mass and Dinner on Tuesday evening at the Diocesan Pastoral Center in downtown Phoenix. It marked the 90th Anniversary of the Serra Organization, which began in 1935 in Seattle and has spread to over 400 clubs in 46 countries with over 13,000 members worldwide. Dedicated to promoting and fostering religious vocations, Serra is the only lay Catholic apostolate officially aggregated to the Vatican.

The evening welcomed new members while honoring four individuals with 40-plus years of service to the club.
