Faith, fellowship and baseball are coming together in downtown Phoenix on Friday, Sept. 11, as the Arizona Diamondbacks are set to host the 4th Annual Catholic Night at Chase Field.
The matchup against the Texas Rangers arrives just as the D-backs make their final push toward the MLB playoffs. Fans can secure their seats by visiting catholicnight.com. Every ticket sold at this link will include a limited edition co-branded hat, and $5.00 going toward Catholic School Support 365, a program that provides year-round support for Catholic school students, providing opportunities to learn, grow in faith and reach their God-given potential.
“It is always so much fun to see everyone come together at Chase Field,” said Bishop John Dolan. “This evening has grown in attendance and energy each and every year, and it is a wonderful testament to the strength, joy and fellowship of our Catholic community.”
Three student-athletes from St. John Bosco Catholic School in Ahwatukee, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, will take the field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game for a fireworks show.
