Blessing of the Animals

This picture was just too crisp and too unusual not to share. I’m wondering how quickly after the blessing the butterflies took off.

Are you getting your pet blessed this weekend? What kind of dog, cat, bird or other pet are you bringing?

The Catholic Sun stumbled across a few dates and times of animal blessings this weekend in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. They’ll be posted within our weekend calendar tomorrow. Feel free to add others we missed.
