In 1997, Pope Saint John Paul II instituted a day of prayer for women and men in consecrated life. This celebration is attached to the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on February 2nd.  The Diocese of Phoenix is home to many communities with their specific charisms that all form the unique fabric of religious life in the Valley of the Sun. There are 20 congregations of women religious and 21 men’s congregations, both serving as brothers and priests. Let us unite in prayer for the consecrated men and women living and serving in our communities.
