Please join us for this Catholic Charities USA webinar!
In the first half of the webinar, Dr. Corona and Catholic Charities of South Jersey will explore how We Thirst and AFIRE Ministries respond to the growing behavioral health needs in our communities through education, evangelization, and healing initiatives that are both evidence-based and faith-based. We will introduce the programs and resources designed to equip individuals and parishes with the knowledge and tools needed to address addiction and associated mental health challenges. Additionally, we will highlight the development of Graced Collaboration, an innovative, evidence-based recovery program that unites faith and science to provide a holistic approach to behavioral health—addressing body, mind, and spirit. Attendees will learn how they can implement these programs in their own communities to foster healing, hope, and renewal for those affected by addiction.
In the second half of the webinar, Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City will show how creating a connection with the community can build trust and familiarity with mental health services. In the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, Catholic Charities’ clinical and parish engagement staff work with parishes and schools across the 46-county diocese to increase mental health awareness, education and access to clinical services. With over 100 years of presence in communities across the western half of Oklahoma, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma continues to leverage innovative ideas to increase the overall mental wellness of all Oklahomans.
