Faith In Action Ministry
March 31 and April 7 on Zoom
For two Monday evenings in mid-Lent, we will take time to pause and reflect on our spiritual journeys. We will use readings from the “Not by Bread Alone, Daily Reflections for Lent 2025” pocket booklet by Daniel P. Horan, published by Liturgical Press. Booklet is exclusive to registered participants.
If the weeks have slipped by or if your Lenten practice needs refreshed, take advantage of this opportunity. Our time together will include contemplative prayer, reading scripture and conversation.
“This little book offers an invitation to engage with Scripture and remember that Lent is always tied to the joy of Easter, and
the hope of the resurrection. We come to know that joy and hope, even amid the suffering and struggles of our world, by becoming people of Scripture and prayer.”
Registration closes on Saturday, March 29, at 7 pm.
Author: Daniel P. Horan, a columnist for National Catholic Reporter and author of 14 books, is the director of the Center for the Study of Spirituality and professor of philosophy, religious studies and theology at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. He is also an affiliated professor at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas.
