Raised Bed Gardening and Composting
Learn how to grow healthy, productive gardens in the challenging climate of the Sonoran Desert. Through hands-on instruction, you will learn how to build and maintain raised beds, improve desert soils with compost and mulch, and use water efficient gardening techniques. The program also covers different composting methods, such as using kitchen waste to create ground compost. By the end, participants gain practical skills to create sustainable, resilient gardens that thrive in arid conditions.
