This hands-on workshop introduces the expressive beauty of the Native American flute and is designed especially for beginners—no music-reading experience is required.
In a fun, relaxed setting, you’ll learn the fundamentals of playing, including fingering, breath control, improvisation, and more.
All materials are provided. A materials fee of $125 is payable directly to the instructor at the workshop.

*Jonah Thompson Navajo hand-crafted flute, key of A Minor, with your choice of bear, buffalo, turtle, eagle, wolf or mountain lion carved on the flute
*Award winning instruction book: The Native American Flute: Understanding the Gift, with narrative audio CD
*A soft fleece flute bag in Native design fabric
*A take home listening CD by John Vames
Class limited to 18 participants.
Pre-registration is required.
Fee for workshop (not including materials): $30 paid at registration.
Fee for materials: $125 paid to instructor at the class.
Scholarship available for class fee only.
