Liturgy Basics for Ministry

The Office of Worship is pleased to announce a reoccurring foundational level class for those who find themselves overseeing liturgical ministry or teaching about liturgy and who have little or no liturgical formation.

This one-day class is focused on the nuts and bolts of liturgical ministry. We will cover the order of the Mass, the structure of the Missal and Lectionary, reading the Ordo, approved liturgical books, basic liturgical vocabulary, church layout and terminology, Mass intentions, writing the Prayers of the Faithful, and the liturgical calendar.
