Masses for the Homebound

October 5th is Respect Life Sunday and Bishop John P. Dolan will be celebrating two Masses to the homebound that will be televised via CW7 from SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral at 9am (in English) and via ESNE TV from St. Juan Diego Parish at 11:30am (in Spanish). A televised Mass reminds the homebound that they are still part of the Church family, not forgotten or isolated. It allows the sick, the elderly or disabled an opportunity to hear the readings and join in prayer with the wider Catholic communion. It gives them a sense of belonging. Please share this info with your loved ones who are unable to make it to Mass on Respect Life Sunday (October 5).
