Men’s Retreat 2026: But Only Say the Word

Ever wonder if there’s more to the Catholic Mass than meets the eye? Why do so many men find Church, and the Mass in particular, boring or unattractive? How can men enter into the liturgy more passionately and reverently, both on the interior and the exterior, in the heart and through ancient ritual?

This retreat will re-discover the Mass within Mass-culinity!

Join growing national speaker and Executive Director of the John Paul II Center for Theology of the Body, Michael Villanueva, who will break open the timeless words of the Centurion from The Gospel of Matthew: “Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my servant shall be healed” (Mt 8:8). These words, which have echoed throughout the ages within the Catholic Mass, will be applied (as they should) not just to Sunday worship but to our everyday lives.

Training 2 — Authentic Mass-culinity: “Glorifying the Lord by your life.”
5pm — Vigil Mass
