Take time to quiet your heart during the busy Advent season – Dec. 12 and Dec. 19, 2022

Let us begin again, for until now we have done nothing.”

For two Monday evenings in mid-Advent we will take time to pause from the “holiday hustle and bustle” and instead take a step back “to begin again” and reconsider who we are, and renew our hearts in preparation to receive Jesus this Christmas. We will use readings from the Advent 2022 Daily Reflections with Saint Francis booklet, published by Franciscan Media and join with Franciscans and friends across the world to remember the reason for the season. Our time together will also include contemplative prayer, reading Scripture, and conversation. And perhaps, during this time of prayer, we too will feel little “touches of grace.”

Registration closes on Sunday, December 11 at 3 pm.

Participate in this 2-week program from the comfort of your own home. Held on Zoom, participants need to be able to access this course through the Zoom application. Once registered, participants receive a registration receipt from the Franciscan Renewal Center. Closer to the start of the class, the Zoom access information will be provided to you through an email from alw@thecasa.org.

Participants can pick up the booklet used in the course in the Narthex or at the Guest Services desk.
