Sewing and Costuming – FiAt Productions

This seven week sewing class brings your creativity to hand as we hone in on developing your basic sewing skills and explore costume design. You will get the chance to work on costumes for FiAt Productions Spring show, Seussical the Musical!

This Sewing & Costuming class will take you through all of the basics and give you the opportunity to work alongside a real production, creating masterful costume designs, learning color analysis, and choosing fabric, all working hand in hand with our show crew!

Supplies needed:
Sewing machine (and instruction manual, if a beginner)
Fabric scissors
Lots of straight pins
Extra sewing machine needles
Extra sewing machine bobbins
Hand sewing needles
Seam ripper
Measuring tape
Thread
Cutting mat and rotary cutter (ONLY IF YOU ALREADY HAD THEM)
