As the first full block of the “Together Let Us Go Forth ~ Juntos Sigamos Adelante” campaign ends, I am excited to share good news. From the very beginning, Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted has emphasized this campaign is about discipleship and evangelization.

I’ve heard many stories of how the campaign is changing people’s lives. It can be hard for us to trust God, especially with our money. Pastors tell me story after story about their parishioners who have taken that leap and given out of their wants. They have accepted the invitation to be disciples, to entrust everything to God. Through this, they’ve experienced a deeper level of joy and freedom.

The campaign is also bringing many to a new and deeper relationship with God. One woman found the next step in her life through the campaign. It’s been a way for her to become involved and reconnect with her community. Another man was a lapsed Catholic when he heard about the campaign. When he chose to participate, he also made a more exciting decision — to come back to the Church!

God is moving in powerful ways through the hundreds of people that have joined the “Together Let Us Go Forth ~ Juntos Sigamos Adelante” campaign. We will never know how this campaign affects every life, but we can trust that God will bless the lives of countless people through this effort. Please pray for the success of this campaign and how your family is being called to support the effort!
