The Bishops of the Arizona Catholic Conference are grateful for the passage of the pro-life bills (SB 1474 and SB 1485) that were signed into law today by Governor Doug Ducey.

These bills include a proposal to prohibit the sale of aborted babies or their body parts (SB 1474). Additionally, SB 1485 will forbid facilitation by the state government in collecting employee donations to abortion providers.

These measures are all consistent with Arizona’s long held policy of respecting human life and will now become law.
