Read the full “Kitchen Takeover” story, “Serrano’s Restaurants serves food with side of compassion,” to find out what industry the family business originally entered in 1919.

Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants, long-time East Valley restaurant chain, has partnered with St. Vincent de Paul for 13 years. Once a month, restaurant owners and staff ‘take over’ the Mesa Dining Room kitchen and serve their food alongside our volunteers to approximately 350 guests.

As an FYI, parts of this video will look more like the kitchen at Paz de Cristo in Mesa than St. Vincent de Paul’s dining room down the street. That’s because a summer fire at St. Vincent de Paul’s Mesa Dining room has resulted in a temporary move to Paz de Cristo.
