Mary Ruth Hackett, Ph.D. is a mom of four with a doctorate in educational psychology. Her passion for helping others make informed decisions in daily catholic life led to the development of the podcast Parenting Smarts, and an unexpected career writing and speaking about the practical applications of developmental psychology. Mary Ruth is the author of two books: Daughter by Design and Discernment of Spirits for Beginners.
